Mário Pinheiro began their work experience in 1996 as a Gestor de obra at Casal Ribeiro. Mário then worked as a Vendedor de Loja at Maichave Acessórios de casa, SA in 1997. From 1998 to 2003, they served as a Técnico de vendas at Resoflex Mobiliário e equipamento de Gestão SA. In 2003, they joined MCL, SA as a Técnico de vendas and later became the Coordenador de vendas until 2020. From 2018 to 2020, they held the position of Direção Comercial at DERWO wood components. Mário then worked as a Delegado comercial Polyrey at Polyrey SAS from 2020 to 2021. Currently, Mário Pinheiro is the Sales Manager for Wilsonart Portugal (Polyrey & Resopal) starting from May 2021.

Mário Pinheiro has a diverse education history spanning several fields and areas of study. In 1982, they attended Escola Primária de São João da Serra, where they completed their Ensino Básico. From 1986 to 1990, they attended École des Promenades in Geneva, completing their Ensino Preparatório. Mário then attended Cicle d’Orientation Grand Lancy in Geneva from 1990 to 1993 for their Ensino Secundário.

Mário's interest in architecture led him to École architecture de Geneve in Geneva, where they pursued their Ensino Secundário in the field of Arquitectura from 1993 to 1994.

In 1994, they returned to Portugal and attended Escola Secundária Emidio Navarro in Viseu for their Ensino Secundário, focusing on Desenho técnico e construção civil. During this time, they also completed a course in Operadores em ambiente Windows at Fundação para a Divulgação das Tecnologias de informação, emphasizing their interest in Informática.

To further their knowledge in computer science, Mário attended Futurbrain Centro de Formação, lda in 2007, specializing in Informática de Perfil BASE I e II.

Expanding their skill set, Mário completed various training programs. In 2017, at Penosil, they received Formação Penosil in Silicones/espumas, and at Polyrey, they completed a Formação em Fenólico Exterior Polyrey, focusing on the phenolic exterior construction material.

Continuing their professional development, Mário completed two online courses in 2018. Mário pursued a Pós Graduação em Direção Comercial e Vendas at IPAM, specializing in Direção Comercial e Vendas. Additionally, at FormaçãoOnline, they obtained a degree in Gestão do departamento comercial, with a focus on Gestão de Pessoas com ênfase em Liderança Organizacional.
