John Wilson has been working in the cell and gene therapy manufacturing industry since 1995. John was the CEO of Wilson Wolf Manufacturing Corporation, where they solved cell and gene therapy manufacturing challenges. In 2013, they co-founded AlloVir, a public company on NASDAQ trading under the ticker symbol ALVR, and served as Managing Director until 2018 and as a Director until 2022. In 2015, they co-founded Marker Therapeutics, Inc., where they served as Co-Founder, CEO from 2015 to 2018, and Director from 2018 to present. In 2020, they co-founded ScaleReady, a joint venture created by Wilson Wolf, BioTechne, and Fresenius Kabi, and serves as a Co-Founder and Board of Director Member. In 2022, they founded the Wilson Foundation, a private foundation based in New Brighton, Minnesota, and serves as Founder and Board Member.
John Wilson attended the University of Minnesota, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. John then went on to Hamline University, where they obtained two Bachelor of Arts degrees, one in Business Administration and the other in Economics.
