Susan Malanowski is the Managing Director/Principal at Wilson Group. Susan has over 25 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on compensation and benefits.
Susan began their career as a Training Manager at Oral Roberts University, before moving into the corporate world as a Compensation Analyst at Barclays. Susan then spent four years as a Compensation Consultant at Aetna, Inc., before taking on the role of Compensation Manager at General Cinema. In 1995, they became the Human Resource Manager at Community Newspaper Company, where they oversaw the HRIS, recruiting and benefit administration functions.
In their current role at Wilson Group, Susan partners with business areas in performance management, employee relations, salary administration and staffing to achieve business goals. Susan has designed and implemented new base salary and sales compensation programs, and delivers training sessions to employees and managers on various topics. Susan is a certified workshop leader of Mastering Meetings by Interaction Associates, and has delivered interactive orientation sessions to acclimate new hires to company culture, values and initiatives. Susan has also delivered sexual harassment prevention training to managers.
Susan Malanowski has a Master of Labor and Industrial Relations from Michigan State University School of Human Resources and Labor Relations. Susan also has a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources from Ithaca College. In addition, they have a High School Diploma in College Preparatory from Norwell High School. Susan also has certifications from WorldatWork in Certified Benefits Professional, Certified Compensation Professional, and Global Remuneration Professional.
