Suzi Drake's work experience includes freelance art director roles at WILMA Magazine and the Greater Wilmington Business Journal starting in 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a senior production designer at Moxie from 2010 to 2017. Before that, they were a features editor at The State Port Pilot from 2005 to 2010, where they were responsible for content, design, layout, and production. Suzi also held the position of features editor at Camp Lejeune Globe from 2001 to 2005, where they had similar responsibilities. Their earlier experience includes working as a staff writer at San Diego Ranch Coast News Group from 2000 to 2001.

Suzi Drake completed their high school education at Weston High School from 1990 to 1994.
