Laura Moore is a Full Time English Faculty member at Cape Fear Community College since August 2012, focusing on enhancing college students' writing and reading skills while mentoring them towards fulfilling career paths. Additionally, Laura has been a Freelance Writer for the Greater Wilmington Business Journal since 2011, contributing articles on hospitality and tourism, and features for WILMA Magazine and the Good Life. From May 2011 to August 2019, Laura served as a Correspondent for The Star News, writing Human Interest stories for the Living Local section. Laura holds a Graduate Certificate in Technical and Professional Communication from East Carolina University, a Master of Arts in Workforce Development and Training from the University of Arkansas, and a Bachelor of Arts in English (Professional Writing) from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
