Nomana Waqas (PMP, PMI-PBA, PMI-RMP)

Nomana Waqas has a diverse work experience in project management and IT roles. Nomana started their career as an Analyst/Programmer at Kohinoor Maple Leaf Group in 2001. Nomana then moved on to become an SR. Business Analyst, where they were responsible for implementing ERP systems and managing various modules such as Financials, Order Management, Procure to Pay, and Inventory Management. Nomana also conducted end user training and managed month-end activities.

In 2003, Nomana joined Kohinoor Maple Leaf Group as a Senior Manager IT, where they managed IT operations and services, developed and controlled IT budgets, and delivered multiple cross-functional projects using Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Nomana worked as a liaison between IT and business functions, ensuring on-time project delivery.

From 2004 to 2012, Nomana served as a Volunteer Worker (Director Legal) at PMI Lahore Chapter.

In 2012, Nomana joined Kohinoor Raiwind Mills Ltd. as the General Manager IT & Organization Development. Nomana was involved in formulating corporate strategies, developing action plans, and mobilizing strategic resources for organizational-wide change. Nomana also established an effective PMO framework, engaged in project management process modeling, and designed project selection frameworks. Nomana also led projects involving looms construction and erection and served as a Project Risk Manager for the installation and commissioning of a 6.5 MW Powerhouse.

Most recently, Nomana has been working at Willowglen Systems since 2017. Nomana started as a Senior Project Manager and later took on the role of Project Management, Senior Project Manager & PMO Lead. In these roles, they have been responsible for leading projects, managing the PMO, and ensuring project management best practices are implemented.

Nomana Waqas has a diverse education history in project management and Oracle technologies. In 2008, they obtained their PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from PMI (Project Management Institute). Prior to that, in 2006, they attended Oracle University and acquired a degree in Apps Administration, specifically focusing on APPS DBA (Database Administrator). In 2000-2001, they also completed a program in Oracle Developer 2000 and earned an OCP (Oracle Certified Professional) degree from Oracle University.

Additionally, Nomana has acquired multiple certifications in various business analysis and project management fields. In 2017, they obtained their PMI-PBA (Project Management Institute-Professional Business Analyst) certification. In March 2013, they obtained their PMI-RMP (Project Management Institute-Risk Management Professional) certification. Moreover, they have obtained several more recent certifications from LinkedIn, such as "Business Analysis Foundations: Business Process Modeling", "Recognizing and Rewarding Your Workers", "Requirements Elicitation and Analysis", "Agile Requirements Foundations", "How to Perform Business Analysis in a Virtual Environment", and "Product Management: Building a Product Strategy".

In terms of Oracle certifications, they hold the "Oracle Database 10g Administrator Certified Professional - Version Retired" certification, obtained in August 2008, as well as the "Oracle Database 10g Administrator Certified Associate - Version Retired" certification, obtained in May 2008.
