Head Of Planning at Willoughby City Council

Mitchell Noble has a diverse background in urban planning and land use. Mitchell is currently working as the Head Of Planning at Willoughby City Council since June 2022. Prior to this role, Mitchell served as the Manager Spatial Planning at the City of Canterbury Bankstown from October 2016 to June 2022. Mitchell also held the position of Manager Land Use and Environmental Planning at Canterbury City Council for a brief period in 2016 before the council transitioned to the City of Canterbury Bankstown.

Before joining the City of Canterbury Bankstown, Mitchell worked at Auburn City Council as a Team Leader in Urban Planning from January 2013 to May 2016. Mitchell also served as a Senior Strategic Planner at Auburn City Council from May 2012 to January 2013. In these roles, they were involved in various planning activities such as preparing planning proposals, providing planning advice to the council, and representing the council at external meetings.

Before that, Mitchell worked as an Environmental Planning Officer at the Department of Planning NSW from June 2006 to December 2010. In this position, they worked closely with Fairfield Council on their LGA wide standard instrument LEP, led the Epping Town Centre Study, and provided strategic advice for planning proposals to the LEP Review Panel.

Mitchell Noble completed a Bachelor of Planning in the field of Built Environment from UNSW between 2003 and 2008. Prior to that, there is no available information regarding their education, but it is known that they attended Bede Polding College at some point.
