Philip Kastar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Philip began their career in 2003 as a Designer at Richard S. Cobb, Architects, where they gained experience in architectural drafting and design. Philip then served as an Engineering Technician at Matanuska Electric Association, where they designed electrical utilities for residential and commercial facilities.

In 2005, Kastar joined Engineered Fire & Safety as a CAD Operator/Designer, where they specialized in fire alarm and suppression system design. Philip managed projects, coordinated with clients and authorities, and prepared drawings and specifications. Philip later moved to Nana WorleyParsons LLC as a Fire & Gas Designer, where they continued designing fire alarm and suppression systems, prepared design documents, and assisted in developing design requirements.

From 2012 to 2017, Kastar worked at CH2M Hill as a Fire & Gas Designer. Philip played a crucial role in designing fire alarm and suppression systems and ensuring compliance with codes and standards. Philip prepared drawing packages and design documents for submittal and approval and contributed to developing design requirements.

In 2018, Kastar joined Jacobs Energy as a Fire and Gas Design Lead, leading design projects and overseeing the fire and gas design process. Philip then joined Anvil Corporation in 2019 as a Fire and Gas Designer before transitioning to CTG - Computer Task Group as an As-built Designer in 2020.

Most recently, in 2020, Kastar worked as a Fire & Gas Field Designer/Engineer at Worley. Philip specialized in fire and gas design and provided expertise in the field.

Currently, Kastar is an OSP Design Engineer at Williams Communications, Inc., where they utilize their engineering skills to design outside plant (OSP) infrastructure.

Throughout their career, Kastar has consistently demonstrated expertise in designing fire alarm and suppression systems, managing projects, preparing design documents, and collaborating with clients and authorities.

Philip Kastar attended the University of Alaska Anchorage from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained an AAS degree in Architectural Engineering Technology.
