Nicholas R. began their work experience in 2017 as an Industrial Engineering Lab Technician/TA at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. In this role, they developed and taught curriculum focused on engineering graphics, design for manufacturing, and 3D printing. Nicholas also served as a Summer Camp Head Instructor, organizing and teaching a high school engineering summer camp. Additionally, Nicholas worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Chemical Engineering Department, collaborating on various research projects related to additive and subtractive manufacturing.
In 2019, Nicholas became the Secretary of the SDSMT 3D Printing Club. Currently, they work as a Manufacturing Engineer at Williams AV, where they apply Lean manufacturing methods to optimize productivity and enhance quality. Nicholas coordinates continuous improvement projects and troubleshoots technical issues to ensure smooth production processes.
Nicholas R. attended Hopkins High School from 2013 to 2016. Following their high school education, they enrolled at South Dakota Mines where they obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Industrial Engineering & Engineering Management. Nicholas attended South Dakota Mines from 2016 to 2020.
