Martha Murray has extensive work experience in corporate communications and special projects. From 2017 to the present, they have worked as the Director of Corporate Communications & Special Projects at William Osler Health System. Prior to that, they were the Manager of Corporate Communications at the same organization from 2017 to 2022. From 2015 to 2017, they served as the Regional Manager of Corporate Communications at Headwaters Health Care Centre, William Osler Health System, and Central West CCAC. Martha also held the role of Manager of Public Relations and Communications at Headwaters Health Care Centre from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, Martha has experience as a Consultant in eHealth at the Ontario Hospital Association from 2005 to 2012. Martha has served on the Board of Directors and as the Chair of Marketing and Communications at the Registered Nurses' Foundation of Ontario from 2007 to 2010. Other roles in Martha's work history include Volunteer Manager & Coordinator at the John Tory Ontario Leadership Campaign in 2004, Media, Issues Monitoring & Research at Prime Strategies Group Inc. in 2003, and Volunteer Coordinator at the John Tory Mayoral Campaign in 2003.

Martha Murray earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Social Studies of Medicine from McGill University, which they attended from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, they obtained a high school diploma from Bishop Strachan School from 1993 to 1999.
