Haseena Hussein currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the School of Medicine at Toronto Metropolitan University, beginning in December 2023. Concurrently, Haseena leads the Division of General Internal Medicine and practices as an Internal Medicine Physician at William Osler Health System, a position held since September 2015. Additional roles at William Osler Health System include Physician Quality Lead and Treasurer of the Professional Staff Association. Haseena is also an Associate Physician at Teladoc Health, a role assumed in September 2019. Academic qualifications include a residency in Internal Medicine from the University of Toronto (2011-2015) and a Master of Science in Healthcare Quality from Queen's University (2018-2020).
