Francisco started their career as a Structural Engineer at TAL Projecto, where they designed reinforced concrete, facades, and structural steel projects. Francisco then worked at Bonacci Group as a Senior Structural Engineer and Project Manager, overseeing projects such as the Gibson Island Advanced Water Treatment Plant and the Robina Hospital. Francisco joined Martifer Group as a Project Manager, where they successfully managed various projects, including the construction of a factory and high-profile structural steel projects. Francisco later became the Executive Director of Engineering, Commercial, and Sales, leading negotiations for the 2014 World Cup project. Currently, Francisco is working as an Operations Director at William Hare Group, where they oversee international projects and provides strategic direction. Francisco Santos holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering from the Instituto Superior Técnico. In 2016, Francisco completed a Professional Continuing Education in Solar executive MBA Training from HeatSpring, focusing on Energy Finance. Furthermore, they conducted their Final Thesis at INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon, where they explored the topic of "Reusing and Recycling Construction and Demolition Waste."
