Aswin Wijetillake is a seasoned professional in the field of audiology and signal processing, currently serving as a Senior Product Owner and Concept Project Manager at Demant since July 2022. Previously, Aswin held roles at Oticon Medical from September 2017 to July 2022, including Translational Research Manager and Senior Developer focused on audiology concepts. Aswin's academic background includes a postdoctoral position at the Technical University Munich, where significant contributions were made to audio information processing, particularly in developing strategies for bilateral cochlear implants and conducting psychoacoustic experiments.
