Sarah Bench, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist with two decades of experience focusing on psychotherapy with children, adolescents, and adults, currently maintaining a private practice since August 2002. As a faculty member and supervisor of assessment at The William Alanson White Institute Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Training Program since September 2016, Sarah also served as a psychologist at various educational institutions, including Manhattan Day School and Horace Mann School. Prior to these roles, Sarah was the chief psychologist at the SUNY College of Optometry Learning Disabilities Unit, where neuropsychological evaluations for children with learning disabilities were conducted. Sarah's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Clinical and School Psychology from Hofstra University and multiple certificates in psychotherapy from The William Alanson White Institute.
