Wei Tian is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and research. Since December 2017, Wei Tian has served as a Senior Solutions Engineer at Willdan, focusing on optimization algorithms for power systems and user interface development utilizing geographic information systems (GIS). Concurrently, Wei Tian has held positions as a Visiting Scientist and Senior Research Associate at the Illinois Institute of Technology since September 2011. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at China Construction Bank from July 2004 to August 2007, where Wei Tian was a lead engineer on financial software systems. Wei Tian holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, a Master's degree in Systems Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University, and a Bachelor of Science in Computational Mathematics from Shandong University.
