Mark Bergaas is an experienced software developer with a career spanning several decades in various notable companies. Currently serving as Developer V at Willdan since March 2019, Mark was part of the transition from The Weidt Group to Willdan Energy Solutions. Prior experience includes roles at The Weidt Group as Senior Software Developer and Developer V, Lawson Software as Senior Software Engineer, and Unisys as Principal Software Engineer, where Mark contributed to the design and development of features for the 1100/2200 Executive systems. Mark also has a background in academia, having been an Assistant Professor of Music at The University of Alabama System, where instruction focused on music history and organ literature. Mark holds a Ph.D. in the History of Music from Yale University and a BA in Music and Psychology from Saint Olaf College.
