Jay Horton is an accomplished writer and editor with extensive experience in the arts and entertainment journalism. Currently serving as an Arts Writer for Willamette Week since 2000, Jay also holds the position of Writer/Producer at ilibrium since 2013 and has been the Editor for Barfly Magazine since 1999. Additional writing roles have been undertaken since 1997, with a significant tenure as SEO Content Editor at Channel Clarity from 2008 to 2013 and as Nightlife Editor at NW Paper from 2005 to 2006. Briefly, Jay was the Interim Music Editor at Portland Tribune in 2005 and served as Crossword Editor at Napster from 2003 to 2004. Jay Horton earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from Occidental College between 1991 and 1995.
