Yitzhak (Zahi) Peleg is a seasoned algorithm research engineer with extensive experience in machine learning, deep learning, and numerical simulations, specializing in electromagnetic and seismic wave propagation. Currently serving as a Senior Algorithm Research Engineer at Wiliot since May 2022, Yitzhak previously worked at Philips and Algotec, contributing significantly to algorithm development and research. At Rafael, Yitzhak engaged in advanced research for over five years. Prior academic roles included teaching assistant and lecturer at Bar-Ilan University, where responsibilities involved teaching quantum mechanics and creating a specialized course for biophysics students. Yitzhak holds a Ph.D. in Physics, as well as both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in the same field, all from Bar-Ilan University.
