Yi Ruan is an experienced IT professional with a robust background in identity management and security. Currently serving as Manager of IDM & Security at Wilfrid Laurier University since June 2011, Yi Ruan has held various leadership roles, including Team Lead for ICT Infrastructure and IdM Architect. Previous experience includes a tenure as Senior IAM Architect at the Bank of Nova Scotia from April 2005 to June 2011 and as a Senior Desktop Support Specialist at the NSW Department of Education and Communities from March 2002 to February 2005. Academically, Yi Ruan holds a Master in Information Technology from the University of Sydney, a Master in Business Administration from CQUniversity, and a Bachelor in Engineering from Zhejiang University.
