Johnny Kung is a seasoned professional in research partnerships and impact, currently serving as Manager, Research Partnerships & Impact at Wilfrid Laurier University since November 2024. Previously, Johnny held multiple roles at CIFAR from April 2019 to November 2024, including Manager of Research & Foresight and Senior Impact Officer, where Johnny fostered collaborations across sectors and disciplines while analyzing various R&D and policy areas. With a strong background in knowledge mobilization and publications demonstrated through previous positions at the Personal Genetics Education Project and JoVE, Johnny has actively engaged diverse stakeholders and developed impactful educational materials. Johnny obtained a PhD in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Harvard University and a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Toronto.
