Katherine Young is a Marketing Communications Specialist currently working at Tahoe Forest Health System since June 2024, following a similar role at Sugar Bowl Resort from November 2022 to June 2024. Katherine also serves as an Outdoor Guide for The Wildland Trekking Company since April 2018, specializing in seasonal backpacking and llama guiding for extended trips. Previous experience includes a food server position at Palisades Tahoe for three seasons and a supervisory role at Kyles Kitchen, overseeing staff and managing operational tasks. An internship as a content writer for 350.org involved creating blog content and email updates, while a role as a travel blogger for Spherical focused on exploring and documenting Santa Barbara's offerings. Katherine earned a degree in Political Science with a Minor in Professional Writing from UC Santa Barbara in 2017.
