Alex Fermanis currently serves as the International Operations Coordinator at The Wildland Trekking Company since April 2023, overseeing the administrative and operational aspects of an international adventure tourism business while utilizing language and interpersonal skills through fieldwork. Concurrently, Alex works as a Music Therapist at Swedish Oncology, contributing to the psycho-social oncology team and engaging with patients and families in various settings. Previous experience includes developing a Music Therapy Hospice pilot program at Brookdale Hospice, managing a caseload of 40-60 clients, and collaborating on outreach events. Alex also has a background in music therapy with Snohomish County Music Project and has completed an internship at CarePartners Hospice. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's in Music Therapy from Marylhurst University and an ISEP Study Abroad program in Psychology and French from Université Pierre Mendès-France.
