Sara Hernandez is an accomplished education professional with extensive experience in Montessori education and teacher training. As a Partner at Wildflower Schools since July 2017, Sara focuses on developing partnerships and opportunities for teacher-leaders, aiming to expand Wildflower's mission in Puerto Rico. Prior to this role, Sara served as a Teacher Trainer, coach, and Lab School Coordinator at Instituto Nueva Escuela from October 2014 to April 2017, where responsibilities included managing proposals and supervising student internships. Earlier positions include Montessori Program Coordinator and Head Teacher at CENTRO ESPERANZA INC and Supervising Teacher for Adult Learners at the Center for Montessori Teacher Education. Sara holds a Master's degree in Montessori Teacher Education from Loyola University Maryland, a Primary Montessori Education Diploma from Washington Montessori Institute, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Universidad del Sagrado Corazón.
