Kushol Huq has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. Kushol began their career as an Athlete, Counselor, and Officer for the University of Maryland Gymkana, where they provided instruction for children and adults on both basic and intermediate skills. In 2017, they became a Coach for Wildfire Gymnastics. In 2018, they joined Q² Solutions as a Lab Assistant, where they worked with cell cultures, immunoassays, data processing, pipetting, and running standard instruments to develop a vaccine for Dengue fever. In 2020, they took on the role of Wordpress Developer for the Santa Ana City Council. In 2021, they became a Full Stack Developer for Zilp. Most recently, in 2022, they began working as a Software Engineer for Wildfire Systems, Inc.

Kushol Huq attended the University of Maryland from 2012 to 2017, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Physics. In 2018, they obtained three certifications from LinkedIn: Learning Bash Scripting, Programming Foundations: Fundamentals, and HTML Essential Training. In 2020, they completed the Full Immersion Web Development Program at LearningFuze, which included courses in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, and Git.
