Gwinyai Vera is an experienced media and production professional currently serving as a Mission Controller and Senior LIVE Director at WildEarth since August 2020, overseeing shows such as Penguin Beach and SafariLive. Previously, Gwinyai coordinated youth camps for Youth for Christ - Cyara and contributed to media production efforts. Additional experience includes roles as a Sales Assistant at Sugarlicious and a brief internship in interior design at Paton Taylor Architects. Early career involvement includes facilitation of educational camps with Glenrock Eduventures and volunteer work with Jugend für Christus Deutschland e. V., where responsibilities ranged from music coordination to team leadership. Gwinyai holds a National Diploma in Interior Design from Durban University of Technology, a Certificate in Graphic Design from College SA, and completed AS/A levels at Ladybrand Academy.
