Farmid Mahtafar has over 20 years of work experience. Farmid started their career in 1999 as a Senior Design Engineer and Design Engineer at HP. In 2009, they became a Senior Software Engineer at ILTS. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Consultant at Merlin, Numi. At Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, they were an R&D Engineer from 2016 to 2020. Currently, they are a Lead Software Engineer & Architect at Wildcat Discovery Technologies.

Farmid Mahtafar attended San Diego State University from 1985 to 1987, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS).
