Doug Miller has extensive work experience in the energy industry, with a focus on natural gas scheduling and power trading. Doug served as a Chief Operations Officer at Wildcat Brothers Distilling in 2020. Prior to that, Miller held various roles at Repsol, starting as a Natural Gas Scheduler in 2015 and later moving to a Power Trader position. From 2001 to 2014, they worked at Calpine as a Sr Hourly Trader, optimizing generation assets in cash markets and leading forecasting and communication efforts with pipelines. Miller also worked as an Hourly Trader at Enron from 2000 to 2001, where they evaluated and implemented wheeling of power and trained new team members. Doug began their career as an Energy Service Representative at Reliant Energy from 1998 to 2000, where they marketed natural gas and electric and managed customer energy needs. Prior to their energy industry experience, Miller served as a Greek Life Coordinator at the University of Houston from 1994 to 1998.

Doug Miller completed their Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Finance at Adrian College from 1986 to 1990. Doug then pursued a Master's degree in CSP at Ohio University, completing it from 1993 to 1994.
