David Payne has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. David currently holds the position of Head of Network Services at Wildanet since April 2022. Prior to this, David worked at Virgin Media for a significant period. Their roles at Virgin Media included Innovation Architect from March 2020 to April 2022, Head of Transformation from October 2019 to February 2020, Transformation and readiness manager from April 2018 to October 2019, Head of Network Assurance from February 2017 to April 2018, Operations Manager from July 2013 to February 2017, and Network Engineer from July 2000 to July 2013. Before joining Virgin Media, David worked at Marconi PLC as a Commissioning Engineer from October 1999 to July 2000. David began their career in the Royal Corps of Signals as a Telecommunications Specialist from October 1990 to October 1996.

David Payne earned a Diploma of Education in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities from The Open University, where they attended from 2010 to 2014. In addition, they obtained several certifications, including Strategic Agility and Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn in April 2022, and Developing a Competitive Strategy from LinkedIn in February 2022.
