Lola de la Mata is a London-based artist, musician, and composer with extensive experience in various artistic roles. Currently pursuing a PhD in Music at the University of Liverpool, Lola's research focuses on experimental sonic and live art expressions related to aural diversity. As an archivist at Wild Bunch, Lola manages the archiving of the back catalogue and facilitates communication among various departments. Freelance work as a composer and musician has included significant collaborations and performances, such as a composer residency at ArtHouse Jersey and a role as Associate Composer with Nonclassical. With a strong background in education and curation, Lola has organized workshops and coordinated projects for interdisciplinary artistic groups. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Experimental Music from Brunel University London and a Bachelor's degree in Printed Textiles and Surface Design from Birmingham City University.
