Samuel Gattis is a seasoned professional in the field of biological sciences and technology, currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Wild Bioscience since January 2024. Previously, Samuel held various leadership roles at Oerth Bio from March 2020 to January 2024, contributing to the development of PROTACs for agriculture. Samuel's experience includes serving as Weed Control Indication Lead at BASF and leading teams at Bayer Crop Science. An accomplished researcher, Samuel began a postdoctoral fellowship at NIEHS and pursued postdoctoral studies at Duke University, focusing on protein biochemistry. Samuel earned a PhD in Biological Chemistry and a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Michigan, where early research yielded three peer-reviewed publications.
