James Forrester is a seasoned software engineer and product manager with extensive experience in the tech and public sectors. Since May 2012, James has held various positions at Wikimedia Foundation, including roles focused on production deployment management, developer productivity, and leadership of Wikifunctions and Abstract Wikipedia. Prior to this, James contributed to HM Revenue & Customs as IT Strategy lead and engaged with the UK Government's Cabinet Office in multiple capacities, such as Digital Engagement Policy Lead. Earlier roles include strategy advising at HM Revenue & Customs and project management at Crown Prosecution Service. James holds a Masterās Degree in Software Engineering from the University of Warwick and a high school education from Westminster School.
