Jorge Solis has extensive experience in project management and library services, holding key roles such as Project Manager and Programmes and Partnership Manager at Wigan Council since October 2014. Prior to this, Jorge served as Principal Librarian - Transformation at Northamptonshire County Council, focusing on income generation and consultancy projects. Jorge's career includes significant positions at the British Council, where responsibilities ranged from managing library supply contracts to overseeing strategic changes in information policy. Achievements include the rationalisation of e-resources and the development of customer service standards for libraries. Jorge holds a Master's degree in Information Management from The University of Sheffield and a Bachelor's degree in Library and Information Science from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
