Zach Roberts has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Zach began their career as an Airport Ground Service Technician at Proflight Aviation. In 2010, they became a Research Technician at WaNPRC. From 2012-2014, they held the position of EMR Tutor at Scribes STAT, while also working as a Jazz Trombonist at Seattle Jazz Underground from 2014-2018. During this time, they also worked as a DJ at DJ Hackett from 2013-2014 and as a Research Scientist at VA Puget Sound Healthcare System from 2014-2018. In 2018, they began working as an Engineering Technician and Assembler 3 at Applied Technical Services. In 2022, they transitioned to Engineering Technician roles at WiBotic and Creation Technologies, as well as a Research Consultant at VA PUGET SOUND HEALTH CARE SYSTEM.

Zach Roberts attended the University of Washington from 2008 to 2012, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physiology.
