Carl Puzey, P.E., S.E. is a seasoned Structural Engineer currently with WHKS & Co. Previously, Carl served for over a decade as a member of the AASHTO Committee on Bridges & Structures, where significant contributions included chairing the T-2 Technical Committee for Bearings and Expansion Devices and participating in the T-3 and T-14 committees focused on Seismic Design and Structural Steel Design, respectively. Carl’s extensive experience also includes a notable tenure as State Bridge Engineer at the Illinois Department of Transportation, spanning from 1990 to 2021. Carl holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structures from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, completed in December 1989.
