Kim Conaty is the Steven and Ann Ames Curator of Drawings and Prints at the Whitney Museum of American Art, a position held since July 2017. Previously, Kim served as a curator at the Rose Art Museum and as an assistant curator, instructor, and curatorial assistant at The Museum of Modern Art from 2008 to 2015. Early career roles included Biennial Coordinator at the Whitney, Graduate Curatorial Fellow at Grey Art Gallery, and Fulbright Fellow at the Fulbright Commission. Kim's academic credentials include a PhD in History of Art from the Institute of Fine Arts, NYU, and an MA in History of Art from Williams College, complemented by a BA in Art History and Spanish from Middlebury College.
