Prior to joining WhiteStar Luis served as development manager for Luxe Capital where he was responsible for deal structuring, market selection, transactional risk management, acquisitions and, development for the company’s multifamily investment portfolio. Luis was also active in performing financial, operational and market due diligence and creating operating and valuation models for investments.
Luis previously worked at Related Companies in New York where he was active in all facets of the acquisition process including sourcing, negotiating, underwriting, due diligence, business plan development, and deal closing. As a District Manager, he worked closely with the development team, collaborating on new projects to ensure construction methods were consistent with operational needs. Luis is a strong finance professional with advanced studies focused on Real Estate Financial Analysis and Construction Project Management from New York University SCPS. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
