Amy Hardy M. Ed. is an experienced Intervention Specialist with a focus on supporting students with learning disabilities across various school districts in Ohio. Currently serving as an Intervention Specialist-Cross Category at Hamilton Local School District since August 2023, Amy specializes in strategies aimed at enhancing reading skills among students who typically perform 2-3 grades below their peers, successfully guiding many to achieve significant improvements in their reading levels within a year. Prior experience includes roles at Whitehall City Schools and Beechwood Elementary, where intervention strategies for reading, writing, and math were designed and implemented for K-5 students. Earlier career contributions at South-Western City Schools involved data collection, IEP facilitation, and co-teaching initiatives. Amy holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Literacy and Reading from Ashland University, along with licensure as an Intervention Specialist from Capital University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology/Psychology from the University of Rio Grande.
