Arthur Davis is a retired software engineer who has extensive experience in the software development field. Arthur began their career in 1979 as a Senior Software Engineer at BDM, where they developed systems and application software principally for Department of Defense and Civil Government customers. Arthur participated as a senior member and team leader in the full range of the software development life cycle and performed professional services consultant functions in customer delivery, on-site support, and training. In 1998, BDM was acquired by TRW and the entire software development group continued with the same structure and mission.
In 2000, Davis joined Software AG as a Senior Developer. In this role, they were a Senior Technical Training Developer, enterprise integration software specialist with a focus on mastering the Enterprise Java software platform in order to develop training materials to teach integration software development and administration for the platform to customers, partners, and internal technical consultants. Arthur was also the Principal technical software liaison for training to the Software Engineering and Professional Services consultant teams.
In 2008, Davis joined Global Infotek, Inc. (GITI) as a Senior Software Engineer. At GITI, they developed and integrated advanced information technology and applied their expertise to build innovative solutions for customers, on time and on budget.
In 2015, Davis joined Whiteboard Federal Technologies as a Principal Software Engineer. Arthur retired from this role in 2019.
Arthur Davis began their education in 1968 at the University of Virginia, where they studied History/Political Science. Arthur then attended Roanoke College, graduating in 1973 with a BA in English Literature. Finally, they attended William & Mary from 1974 to 1975, studying Graduate English Literature.
