A trusted advisor to journalists and entrepreneurs, Jenna works closely with editors and reporters at national outlets including NPR, the Wall Street Journal, and the New York Times, as well as trade publications that cover the global education and learning sectors. As the founding director of Whiteboard Advisors’ communications practice, she works with a creative and energetic team in DC and Silicon Valley to help clients advance the ideas and solutions that can help individuals thrive in their global and ever-changing world.
Jenna previously directed external affairs for the American Enterprise Institute’s education policy program, where she started her career as a research assistant to education scholar and author, Frederick M. Hess. She has served as a co-producer of TransformingEDU at the Consumer Electronics Show and as a judge for the Milken PENN Education Business Plan Competition and SXSW EDU’s Launch startup competition.
Jenna’s interest in journalism began as a college student at Azusa Pacific University, where she served as the opinion editor for her college newspaper. She serves on the Board of Trustees for Los Angeles Pacific College, her alma mater’s online college designed to serve adult learners.
