Lawrence Westerlund currently serves as Vice President of Development and Community Engagement at White Pine Renewables, overseeing solar energy projects and community outreach since July 2023. Simultaneously, Lawrence holds the position of Director of Economic Development for the City of Fresno and has been President/CEO of Westerlund Enterprises, LLC since January 2013, providing legal, management, and development services. Lawrence's legal experience includes a position as Attorney at Law at Coleman & Horowitt, LLP from 2013 to 2023 and as Deputy District Attorney at the Tulare County District Attorney's Office from 1994 to 1999. Lawrence served in the United States Navy for over 24 years, retiring as a Naval Officer, and was a City Councilmember for Fresno from 2005 to 2013. Educationally, Lawrence obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law and has a Political Science degree from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, along with studies at the University of Cambridge.
