Tim Wald has a diverse work experience in the education field. Tim began their career at St. Odilia School in 1990, where they worked as a Teacher and Assistant Principal for eight years. In 1998, they moved to Northdale Middle School and served as the Dean of Students for one year before joining White Bear Lake Area High School, North Campus in 1999 as an Associate Principal. Tim held this position for six years before being promoted to Principal of White Bear Lake Area High School in 2005, where they remained until 2017. Tim then transitioned to their current role as the Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Operations at White Bear Lake Area Schools, ISD #624.
Tim Wald has a comprehensive education history which includes a Diploma from Shanley High School in 1984. Tim went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Social Studies Teacher Education from Minnesota State University Moorhead between 1985 and 1989. In 1993, they pursued a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Minnesota State University, Mankato, which they completed in 1995. From 1995 to 1997, Tim Wald furthered their education by obtaining an Educational Specialist degree in Secondary School Administration/Principalship from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Lastly, in 2015, they attended St. Mary's University to attain a Superintendent's License in School Administration.
