Kubashni Sannasy has extensive work experience, starting with their current role as Head of IT Assurance and Strategic Programmes at Whitbread, where they began in September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Johnson Matthey as the Head of Assurance - IT and Business Change from October 2020 to September 2022, and as the Head of Assurance - EMEA from July 2017 to September 2020.

Kubashni Sannasy completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree in Accounting from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2002-2003. Prior to that, they also obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree in Information Technology from the same university in 1997-2001. Kubashni attended Southlands Secondary from 1992 to 1996, but no details about any degrees or fields of study were provided for that period. In 2022, Kubashni Sannasy obtained certification in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) from ISACA.
