Monika Tibenska has extensive work experience in communications and marketing roles. Monika most recently worked as a Marketing Coordinator at Whistleblower Software starting in December 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Communications Specialist at The Why Foundation from February to October 2021, where they were responsible for various tasks including communications, press relations, content creation, and outreach. Before that, they worked as a Communications Specialist at Walk With Path Limited from February to June 2020, focusing on social media campaigns, content creation, and social media optimization. In 2019, Monika interned at Bué Fixe, where they covered two positions as a Communications and Project Management Specialist. Monika also has experience as a Video Editor at TVDot from October 2018 to March 2019, handling video editing, camera management, and planning video stories. Their earlier experiences include working as a Communications and Campaigns Assistant at the International Federation of Journalists from October 2017 to January 2018, and as a Contributing Editor at Pravda from October 2015 to August 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Reporter at Hospodarske noviny for a short period in June and July 2016.

Monika Tibenska obtained their Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Comenius University in Bratislava in the years 2013 to 2016. Monika later pursued their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Middle Eastern Studies from Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark from 2016 to 2018.
