William Garnes is a seasoned software engineer with a robust background in software development and teaching. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Whistic since May 2020, William has progressed through various roles, including Software Engineer II and Software Engineer I. Prior to Whistic, William was a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Clemson University, where responsibilities included leading an undergraduate Algorithms and Data Structures course and supporting students in lab assignments. William’s internship experiences span notable organizations, including The Home Depot and Proofpoint, contributing to critical software features and compliance solutions. William holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Clemson University and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Japanese from the University of Utah.
