Mahesh Habde is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field of product safety and engineering. Currently serving as the General Manager of Corporate Product Safety for Asia at WHIRLPOOL of India Ltd since March 1997, Mahesh is responsible for setting and implementing product safety processes across Asia for all product categories, which includes auditing and monitoring safety standards. Prior to this role, Mahesh worked as an Instrumentation Engineer at Philips India Ltd in Loni Kalbhor from 1987 to 1997, where responsibilities included designing machines for the manufacturing of various electronic components. Mahesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication, as well as a Diploma in Electronics and Radio Engineering from Cusrow Wadia Institute of Technology, obtained between 1990 and 1994.
