Alan Powers has extensive experience in engineering, currently serving as Engineering Manager for the Flight Controls Business Unit at Whippany Actuation Systems since March 2017. Previously, Alan held the position of Mechanical Design Engineer in the Military Business Unit and worked as an R&D Engineer at Thomas & Betts. Alan's engineering career began at Ametek Aerospace, where responsibilities included the design of various aerospace sensors. Academic credentials include a Master’s of Business and Science in Engineering Management from Rutgers University–New Brunswick and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, complemented by an Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering from County College of Morris.
