Adriaan Derksen is a product manager at Whiffle, specializing in weather forecasting and simulation through finecasting technology, utilizing advanced Nvidia GPUs since February 2020. Previously, Adriaan interned at Siemens Gamesa, contributing to offshore wind projects, and at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., focusing on loan and debt capital market services. Other experiences include teaching economics at Lyceo, engaging in business affairs for YES!Delft Students, and a summer internship at Kuijpers during the construction of a new hospital. Adriaan holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology, complemented by study abroad programs in aerospace and mechanical engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico and Lund University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University.
