Andrew Brown has been in the investment and management consulting industry since 1999. Andrew began their career at Ernst & Young as a Management Consultant on the Graduate Scheme. In this role, they had experience working with a number of blue chip companies and was involved in projects such as process reengineering, business transformation, implementation of enterprise risk solutions and implementing business change. In 2003, they moved to Troika as a Consultant. In 2004, they joined Scottish Widows Investment Partnership as a Senior Consultant Corporate Development. In 2007, they joined Baillie Gifford as a Director of International Equities and Client Director of Japanese and Developed Asian Equities. In 2020, they became a Non-Executive Director at When in Rome Wine.
Andrew Brown attended George Watsons College from 1982 to 1995. Andrew then went on to Durham University from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained a BA (hons) in Andrew'story & Politics. In 2001, they completed a Securities Institute Diploma from the UK Securities Institite in Investments and Securities. In 2005, they obtained their CFA level 1 from the CFA Institute in Investment Management. Most recently, they completed an Adaptive Leadership Course from Harvard Kennedy School in 2019. Andrew also holds an MSI certification.
