Matthew O'Neill is a software developer with extensive experience in the technology and research sectors. Currently employed at Xenial, a cloud-based hospitality management platform, since May 2022, Matthew previously held the same position at SCI Fusion360 from March 2021 to May 2022. Academic experience includes serving as a research assistant at Duke University from October 2014 to January 2016, where contributions focused on the metabolic costs of feeding in lemurs, and at NESCent from 2014 to 2015, investigating behavioral variation in grey mouse lemurs for Alzheimer’s research. Matthew holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (2019-2021), along with a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2009-2012), complemented by various educational opportunities including a data science internship at the Duke Lemur Center and training at The Iron Yard.
