Evan Bourtis is a digital writer at WHEC-TV News10NBC since March 2022, focusing on online multimedia articles related to the Rochester, NY community. Previous experience includes serving as a Laboratory Technician at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry from June 2019 to January 2022, conducting experiments on gene roles in cell processes, and researching honey bee health at St. John Fisher College while producing over 50 stories as a reporter for the Cardinal Courier. Internships at WROC-TV Channel 8 and WXXI Public Broadcasting Council involved publishing news stories and radio packages, respectively. Evan Bourtis holds a bachelor's degree from St. John Fisher University and is currently pursuing a Master's in Journalism at Harvard Extension School.
